GDH-FAD enzyme
Two enzymes that are particularly suitable for measuring blood sugar because they prevent measurement errors caused by fluctuations in blood oxygen levels and also eliminate interference caused by malt and galactose. Another advantage is that in addition to capillary blood, arterial blood, venous blood and even AST can be used. The hematocrit value indicates the viscosity of the blood. This value is important in order to obtain an accurate result of the blood sugar measurement. Most conventional measuring devices do not take this value into account, which leads to distorted results.
Our Fora 6 Duo/Connect first determines the individual hematocrit value and, if necessary, corrects the measurement result in the event of deviations so that it is always close to the laboratory value. Since our Fora 6 Duo/Connect not only meets the EN ISO 15197:2015 standards, but exceeds them, our measuring device is even approved for medical use.
